Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea produced the second best defense of his career for a single game as his heroism led to a 1-0 win over the Spurs.
Marcus Rashford scored the only goal, assisted greatly by Paul Pogba, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer becoming United's first coach to win his first six games.

David de Gea produced 11 saves in a virtuoso goalkeeping performance on Sunday, helping Manchester United to a 1-0 win over Tottenham via Marcus Rashford's goal.
In passing his first significant test since replacing Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the first United coach to open with six straight wins - bolstering his bid to retain coaching duties next season.
The only goal came in the 44th minute of the second half at Wembley Stadium after Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier tipped the ball to the goal. Paul Pogba sent a long, high pass to Rashford, who controlled the ball with a touch and then sent down goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.David De Gea made more saves in the 2nd half today than any goalkeeper in an entire Premier League game this season.— David De Gea Facts (@DeGeaFacts) January 13, 2019

Although they are still third in the standings, Tottenham have already lost consecutive league games and striker Harry Kane limped in the end. United have yet to rise from sixth place under Solskjaer, but the 20-time English champions record is now only behind Arsenal in goal difference and six points behind Chelsea in the fourth and last place of the Champions League.
