Chelsea agree £37.5million fee to sign versatile midfielder, 5th summer signing?

Chelsea are currently in high spirit following their win over Arsenal in a pre-season game and Antonio Conte is poised to continue with his giants strides.
Away from football activities, Chelsea have not come-off the transfer market as Conte is looking for quality options to add to his otherwise strong squad. Chelsea have already signed James Rudiger in defence but Conte is look to give Victor Moses competition on the right side of defence.
The Sun is reporting that Chelsea are on the verge of sealing a deal for Barcelona’s Sergi Roberto, after they agreed to meet his release clause.
Roberto ascended the grades of Barcelona’s La Masia academy and he has established himself as key man on the right side of the Catalan’s Club defence. He featured in 32 League games for the Blaugrana Club last term.
Chelsea are short of options for the wing back positions and have missed out on their target for the right back position Danilo Pereira after the player favored a move to Man City and they have turned their attention to Roberto.
The 25-year-old has a release clause of  £37.5million in his contract and the report claims Chelsea are willing to pay up his valuation.
However, the player has revealed that he’d prefer playing as a midfielder, leaving Chelsea to ponder if they can still sign him.
”I would really like to play in midfield, it’s where I feel most comfortable, but I want to continue having the most opportunities to play,” reported Spanish publication Marca.
