Klopp has won the Premier League Manager of the Month award after guiding Liverpool to seven wins in seven games in December, ensuring the Reds will start in 2019 at the top of the table.
Liverpool won victories over city rivals Everton and Burnley in the first week of December, after that won victories against Bournemouth, Manchester United, Wolves, Newcastle and Arsenal.
"Every game felt like the most important of the season, it was incredible, the intensity was huge, but that's what made it a special month."

"With the group I have here, if you can mix the group's potential with the best attitude you can get, you get quality, that's what we did in December."
They scored 22 goals in December, but their defensive record was undoubtedly more impressive, as the Liverpool baseline only allowed three goals.

The key to that defensive stability was the great central defender Van Dijk, who has been named the Player of the Month for the Premier League in December.
Van Dijk won the award before his teammate Mohamed Salah, Tottenham pair Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, Felipe Anderson of West Ham and Eden Hazard of Chelsea.

The Dutchman has always been present for Liverpool in the Premier League this season and has only failed to complete 90 minutes on one occasion when he was replaced in a 3-0 victory over former club Southampton in September.
Van Dijk left the Saints in a £ 75 million move to Anfield 12 months ago.

Liverpool, which is chasing the Premier League title, sits on top of the table, four points behind the reigning Manchester City champions.
