Pogba absent against Hotspur

Manchester United are ready to face Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Pogba absent against Hotspur

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a perfect five out of five as interim manager since he replaced José Mourinho in mid-December, after the FA Cup 2-0 victory last weekend over Reading.

Tottenham Hotspur enters the weekend in third place, while we are six points behind the top four. A victory would be enormous in our bet to finish in the places of the Champions League this season.

The boss has been speaking at his press conference before the game before the game this weekend and has reported on the news of the team and injuries.

Ole was able to confirm that Paul Pogba is probably ready for our trip to the capital on Sunday. The French midfielder missed last weekend's game after being hit in the hands of a dangerous challenge by Newcastle United's Jonjo Shelvey. Solskjaer said:

"He [Pogba] looked good towards the end [of the training camp], so he'll be fit.
"He had some problems, but he beat the last sessions well, so he should be fine."
Paul Pogba has been instrumental during the short reign of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, participated in six goals (4 goals, 2 assists) in his first four games and was named the Player of the Premier League in December as a result.

However, we will be without three central defenders for the match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. The Norwegian revealed that Marcos Rojo has returned to his homeland with an injury. The Argentine has not shown up since our 2-1 loss to Valencia in mid-December. Ole said:

"He has returned to Argentina for a while with his injury.
"For him, it's mentally important that he escape and come back again."
Marcos Rojo joins Chris Smalling on the sidelines, while Eric Bailly does not participate in the final game of his three-game ban and will be available to face Brighton and Hove Albion next weekend.
