According to AS who quote French outlet Mediapart as their source, Paris Saint-Germain are indeed in a spot of bother with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules, despite their efforts to deny such reports. The French champions need to come up with a grand total sum of €170million in order to avoid sanctions by the European football governing body, which could include a suspension from next season’s Champions League.
The club’s biggest stars, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, have been linked with moves to Spain. Mbappe has been mentioned mostly in the aspect of replacing Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, while the stories about Neymar included both Real Madrid and a potential return to Barcelona. Also, given the amount of money at the disposal of some English clubs in recent few years, AS aren’t ruling out one of the two forwards moving to England either.
The Spanish outlet are quite certain that a sale of one of them would be the best way for PSG to recoup the money they need to balance their books out, without doing much damage to the depth of their squad.
