The England defender has agreed a five-year deal with Everton and will become boss Ronald Koeman’s third signing of the summer.
Former Manchester United defender Keane is undergoing a medical this morning, with the formalities of the deal expected to be completed by 3pm.
Keane, 24, also attracted interest from Everton’s Merseyside rivals Liverpool, but Koeman pulled out all the stops to sign the young centre-back.
