Chicharito returns to England with Hammers

harnadez has return to England premier league, signing with West Ham United
Star Mexico forward Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez has returned to the English Premier League, signing with West Ham United from Bayer Leverkusen.
Hernandez spent four seasons with Manchester United, scoring 37 goals in 103 appearances for the club. He has spent the last two seasons plying his trade in the German Bundesliga, where he had a productive two years with Die Werkself, scoring 28 goals in 54 appearances.
"I am very happy to join West Ham United,” Hernandez told the club's official website. “For me, the Premier League is the best league in the world and when the opportunity came, I was desperate to sign for this club.
“It was not a difficult decision. West Ham is an historic club, and very ambitious – this summer you can see with the players signed that they are looking to have a very good season. I’ve had three fantastic years playing in Spain and Germany, but England was really the first big chapter in my career and I am so happy to be back.
“I am desperate for the season to start and to help the team achieve all their objectives.”
In the international arena, Hernandez had a busy summer with Mexico at the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017, scoring one goal as El Tri finished in fourth place.
West Ham's first match in the new 2017/2018 season sees them visit Old Trafford, where 'Chicharito' will come up against his former side, this time wearing the claret and sky blue kit.
