ALVARO MORATA is nailed on to join Chelsea during the summer transfer window, according to the bookies.
Morata had been at the centre of a protracted transfer saga between Real Madrid and Manchester United, but now looks set to move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are looking to sign the Spanish striker after missing out on top transfer target Romelu Lukaku when a deal looked all but done.
The Blues were expected to land Lukaku but United stole in with a £75million bid, causing Antonio Conte to turn his attention to the Red Devils’ original target Morata.
The 24-year-old’s route to the first team at the Bernabeu is currently blocked by Karim Benzema, and the bookies expect Chelsea to offer Morata an escape route.
